Thank You

Thank you - two of the most powerful words in the English language. When someone says “Thank you “ it means that they are very appreciative of what you did for them. When the other person does not recognize what you do for them on a continual basis, the help becomes tedious and very boring and uneventful. When someone says “thank you: and buys you some gas the chore becomes a pleasure. I went out of my way to help you and I’ll keep on doing things for you.

Think about it - “You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.” The other day I was at Wal-Mart buying groceries and flowers, and I just happened to see my supervisor buying me cleaning supplies for the SHAC where I mop floors clean bathrooms, and empty the trash. I was checking out, and I happened to give the checker and the new checker a flower each. My Supervisor saw this and came over and said to me “you have too many friends.” I went and said to the checkers, “Giving you the flowers is what makes me different,” and they both smiled and said “Thank you”. I went to the SHAC the next day and when Shannon came in this was the main topic of conversation between the three of us.

Who is talking

The other day I was sitting in my captain’s chair watching the sun rise and looking at my flowers, and I noticed that I had a couple of white flowers, some pink flowers, some red flowers, some burgundy flowers, some purple flowers and one yellow flower with red trim. My first thought was “Is this a message from God?” Here I have the complete spectrum of colors from white to purple and me being the yellow flower with these other colors,

I was listening to the radio and “Highway to the Danger Zone “ came on. I was looking at my new painting of the red Chile pepper wearing black ski boots, gloves and cowboy hat racing down the ski jump with the sky blue back round. In my mind there was a picture of these F-15s taking off an aircraft carrier. The two jets fly by each other and that song keeps playing in my head “Highway to the Danger Zone.” My favorite song is “Highway to the Danger Zone.”

Make yourself happy

When I go to buy my flowers I go to Wal-Mart. I know the greeters and many of the cashiers. I give them flowers and they smile. I told one of the cashers as I gave her some flowers that this is what makes me different. I make myself happy when I give away flowers and it makes others happy every time they see the flowers.

My paintings are happy and I think when I see them, I smile and I know that the positive side within me smiles. My paintings have sold all over the United States. My latest painting is the ski jumping red-hot Chile pepper racing down a ski jump wearing a black cowboy hat and black gloves, with his mouth and eyes wide open. I meditate on this painting every morning and the first thought I get is, “How can a Chile pepper racing down a ski jump keep his cowboy hat on?”

I make myself happy and just by chance it make others smile. A word to the wise, “When one finds something good you should stick with it.”

Flowered Hitman

I was up at 4:00 A.M. and I was having my personal conversation. One of my internal conversations was about the City of Austin has sent out a search for art that would go into a library that was a post office and I just happened to have a painting of a Hispanic man with a pipe in his mouth and a peg leg carrying a football.

One conversation was that of the flowered hitman and I was thinking of the special people that need a flower. Another conversation was that of my happy trashcan and how they make me happy. My therapist even said so.

I look at my art that was reprinted in a book, Austin Arts, 10,000 copies; I’m kinda famous, I think.

After drinking 4 or 5 cups of good samarta coffee, I sent out on my flowered hitman quest. My first stop is Sammy's Shoe repair where I give some long stemmed flowers. Jon's response was "You would not believe how many people comment about these flowers."

Then to VSA where I can write my blog and give some flowers. VSA is helping me to get on their website.

I write as much as possible and I just may repeat myself because I am a happy camper and I’ll pat myself on the back.

Good morning this is GOD. I will be handling all your problems today; I don’t need your help. Have a nice day.

Have you heard about my happy cans, trash cans. I told my counselor about my trash cans and I brought 7 in she saw they and asked what I was going to do with them and I responded with sell them, She responded with I’ll take two. I asked her why she chose these two? She said these represent you they are happy cans and every body I show them too says the same thing “They are happy cans.

The other day I was told about “Fung Shuei”. Part of their program is always have living flowers and when they are dead throw them away. The dead flowers give off as much negitive energy as the living flowers give off positive energy. This was written in the lost Gospel of Mikie. If you are doing what your spirit and what your heart wants then you are making yourself happy. Make yourself happy.

My new adventure now is painting plastic bottles from the store and giving them away with flowers. One morning after coming out of Wal-Mart I gave the greeter a long stemed flower and she was so happy. I could tell by the smile on her face. The flowered hit man makes people smile. I make myself smile. Remember that if Mikie likes it, then its got to be good
