I’ve been thinking,

There are two energies within you. One is the physical, the getter done, and the intellectual, the spirit, or the self-side. The physical side is the do it side. How can I make it happen, or the side that thinks.

The physical side is the loving yourself, buying flowers and enjoying the morning sunrise, the butterflies, the many birds eating and drinking and bathing from the birdbath and with a good cup of coffee. When it is cold and raining on the tin roof I must be stepping on Gods toes. I enjoy the many challenges of life. Remember I am a brain-damaged person that has graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in psychology, worked for 17 years at the University of Texas but had to retire because of brain damage. I now am painting and performing, all over the U.S. I just want to be different.

Nicole Kidman, I think.

An R.V. moved in next-door and the weather was freezing. I saw a female outside fixing her trailer. I believe it was Nicole Kidman.
The sewer line had fallen off the brick that it was resting on. I thought about going over and interrupting Tom Cruse and Nicole Kidman. "Hi! I’m your neighbor Mike and your sewer line is off the blocks, oh! Welcome to Austin. Texas." I decided not to and she came out of the RV.
Later that day the hose fell off the brick that it was on but as chance would have it she was gone and I went and fixed it.
One morning, I met the lady and she was not Nicole Kidman but I had a great time making this story.

I am a real legend in my own mind. The other day I was invited to speak at Dr. Marquart freshman class on traumatic brain injury. I met a student that was welcoming me at the Speech and hearing clinic. She had a wonderful accent, She was from Russia. I found out from her that Dr. Marquart in Speech Pathology had put me on DVD for a textbook. So I have made it to be in a textbook at the University of Texas.
Out of my 32 years of rehabilitation I find that flowers are the most positive energy I can get every morning. Humor is the best self-gratification. If you can let others laugh with you then you have taken the first step in rehabilitation. To listen and do is the best plan of attack.
There is a down side, I have lost my job as a mild mannered mop boy, because MHMR took the building for their own use and now they have a professional mop boy. So I will be losing the exercise and the extra money.
I’ve heard that actual lives might be invited to Dallas again.
The message I get from my other self is “go to Town Lake and paint Superhero or Chile pepper at Town Lake

Different

I am different. Someone that has gone from being severally brain damaged to graduating from the University of Texas, working for the University of Texas for 17 years and retired because of brain injury complications. Now I am doing my writing & painting art. I am someone that gives flowers and helps as much as I can.
I’ve performed in Washington D.C. Dallas, San Marcos and many times in Austin, Texas. I’ve sold paintings all over the U.S. I’m doing one now called “Bad to the Bone”, which is a performance skit with Actual Lives. I dance to the music “Bad to the Bone” and in my morning conversation with the other me inside me. I ask, “Would you get in front of 150 people and dance to bad to the bone? The other me says “I did.” Remember footprints in the sand. Why do you think you got such a positive response from everybody?
I’ve have been written in a text book for speech pathology at the University of Texas, I am a guest speaker at the University of Texas for graduate and a freshman class at the University of Texas in Speech Pathology. It seems like people listen to what I’m saying and that’s as far as it goes.
I’ve had my car painted by a herd of little children at the art car parade. I give flowers to my friends and to myself.
Why do I sit on my pity potty? Do I want things to happen to fast? Am I complaining because I’m alone? Am I really a superhero?

Superhero vs. Colonoscopy

Yes dear readers I had a true enlighten,
The whole process is en experience. The day before I had to stop eating at 12 p.m. I had to open my gallon of laxative and drink 9oz. Every 15 minutes until I can not drink anymore or it starts coming back up, You’ve done this before and one fart can produce nigra falls if you aren’t careful. I now have a more respect for pregnant women, while I was carrying that basketball in my stomach
Any way, I went into the surgery room and watched a camera and a light in this clean tunnel with red, purple, white, and off white colors.
After the surgery was over and I was back in the room getting un hooked, intravenous, heart monitor, BP and they were having a birthday party next door and I asked the nurse if I could have a piece of cake? I didn’t cry. She left so I could get dressed and when I stepped out of the dressing room there was a piece of cake for me. The nurse said “get back in your room... I could get fired for this,” I had to sit in a wheelchair because I had been under madication. I sat down and eat the inhaled the cake and by that time the nurse was their telling me all the do & don’t. One nurse was there to give me my 50000-mile warranty or 5 year.
The head nurse comes over and asks me how do I feel. MY response with an empty cake plate in my lap and cake on my mouth. With a big smile and cake on my mouth “fine.” She looked at me and said “Your bad so bad” and I smile. As I was leaving I got several “Bye Mr. Burns".

The Post Office adventure

I went to the post office early one morning and their were two people in front of One man & one woman the clerk started to unlock the screen and I said to the lady Noise from behind the iron curtains a reselling, the crowd grows with excitement and anticipation, The curtain is opened and the crowd lunges forward. I looked at the lady and said “I’m also a writer, and she responded with I bet a lot of people like your work.

Flowers

One morning at Wal-Mart I was getting me supplies and the last item to be checked out is my flowers. The checker knows me from before. She looks at me with the flowers and asks, “Who are these for?” and I repaired ‘they are for me. It’s the most positive thing I can buy for myself.”

Actual lives does Dallas

This is the most exciting time on stage that I can think of.
My strip tease music that I dance to was left in Austin and I was to dance to “Bad to the bone by George Turgid. Let me tell you “I have never preformed on stage to “Bad to the Bone” nor have danced on stage in front of an audience of about 300 people,
After the show the lighting and sound director said when your naked leg came out from behind the curtain dancing to bad to the bone the electricity turned on. Heard the hoots, whistles, and cat calls, the audience went wild. Co-actor said “You are now our runner and when he left Dr.Chris said “Mike you’ve all ways been our runner The director VSA said Bad to the Bone is now a part of actual lives.
If you can imagine a fat man dancing to Bad to the bone while wearing a pair of black & white pajama pants no shirt. Well it is a sight to behold. I asked god if He would dance to Bad to the Bone and He says “I did” and I later remember “footprints in the sand”
